Direct Support Professional - PRN (On-Call)

Job Summary
Direct Support Professional responsibilities include providing direct care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation), helping individuals develop independent living skills, transporting to appointments and community activities, administering medications as required, maintaining accurate records, completing required training modules and certifications, and communicating effectively with individuals, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position
- No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years
- No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Serious Speed, Driving While License Suspended, etc) in the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a background check
- Possess skills to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and other customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy
