Job Summary
Direct Support Professional to provide direct care in individuals' homes, assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep), support independent living skills, provide transportation to appointments and activities, administer medications as required, maintain documentation, and complete trainings. Requires compassionate, dependable candidates with effective communication and confidentiality, serving as part of a team to help individuals live more independently and achieve personal goals. Location is Lima, OH; on-call/PRN contract role with benefits package for employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license if driving is required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy
