Job Summary
Help individuals with developmental disabilities live meaningful lives by listening to their dreams, learning skills, and involving them in activities matching their interests. Assist people in developing positive community relationships while respecting their rights and teaching them to advocate for themselves. Protect the health and safety of supported individuals by administering medication, following doctor's orders, accompanying them to medical appointments, and providing supervision per their service plans. Use a person-centered philosophy to create teachable moments throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
