Job Summary
Provides close supervision for individuals in accordance with individual treatment plans, including 1:1 supervision. Participates in program planning meetings and verifies treatment plans. Maintains individuals’ possessions, provides safe transportation, and ensures comfort during travel. Keeps agency property in clean condition and reports issues. Must comply with OPWDD regulations and agency procedures. Attendance at mandatory training, meetings, and maintaining certifications is required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of high school diploma or GED
- A clean and valid NYS driver’s license required
- Ability to complete SCIP and AMAP training
- Obtains and maintains SCIP-R certification
- Obtains and maintains AMAP certification and submits a copy of the certification to each program in which he/she administers medication
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/traumatic brain injured preferred
