Job Summary
Provide quality care, direction, and help to customers with daily activities including bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, medication administration, and housework. Assist clients with appointments, arrange transportation for errands, and serve as a companion to help them achieve agreed-upon goals for community integration. Deliver written daily shift updates via an online platform while observing conditions and monitoring surroundings to ensure safety and equipment management. Adhere to all ICM policies, HIPAA regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a clean environment and instill trust through effective communication and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education)
- Maintains prompt and regular attendance
- Understands and endorses ICM's mission and vision
- Follows all ICM policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and asks for clarification and explanation when needed
- Understands and complies with all HIPAA regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
