Job Summary
Provide personal care support including hygiene, ambulation, and routines while performing housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and errands. Administer medications under appropriate direction and complete health-related tasks like vitals checks. Plan and prepare nutritious meals, transport clients to appointments and community outings, and coach on daily living skills. Perform every task with consideration and care, ensuring accurate electronic visit verification and service documentation. Meet weekly reporting compliance on client goals and well-being. Work awake shifts in the Bexley or Westerville areas with opportunities for additional PRN hours.
Required Qualifications
- Medication Administration Certification (Med Cert 1) — must have a current Med Cert number and be able to pass meds
- Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Completion of the initial DODD 8-hour Direct Support Professional training
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs
- Completion of state-mandated DODD 8-hour annual training and re-certification
