Job Summary
Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily routines, including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Monitor health needs, report concerns immediately, and drive individuals to medical appointments and community activities. Assist with skill development and participate in social and recreational programs while ensuring accurate program documentation. Build support networks with families and community members. Part-time and PRN roles in Cookeville, TN start at $15.68 per hour. No experience required; paid training provided. High school diploma, valid driver's license, and successful completion of background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
