Job Summary
Direct Support Professional needed for part-time evenings in a residential setting. You will empower residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pursue independence by following individualized care plans, providing coaching and guidance, supporting daily living activities, planning and joining evening recreational and therapeutic programs, accompanying residents on community outings, transporting residents safely, assisting with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and maintaining health, safety, and documentation. Training is provided; no prior experience required. Schedule: Wednesday–Thursday, 4pm–12am in Secane, PA. This role supports a compassionate, person-centered home environment in a Joint Commission-accredited organization; opportunities for growth and potential transition to full-time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record
- PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
