Job Summary
Direct Support Professional provides direct support, supervision, and mentoring to individuals in a residential setting, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, life skills, transportation navigation, and community integration. Responsibilities include administering medications per state/agency requirements via eMAR, maintaining documentation, coordinating with care plans (Person-Centered Plan, Behavior Support Plan, Nursing Care Plan), ensuring a safe living environment compliant with COMAR and Health Dept standards, and completing required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, medication technician certification). Must have Maryland Medication Administration Certification (or obtain) and a valid Driver's License to provide transportation using company vehicles. Schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 8am-4pm and 4pm-10pm, with part-time status. Includes benefits eligibility based on part/full-time status; work involves interacting with individuals with IDD/DD and supporting their decision-making and daily planning.
