Job Summary
Direct Support Professional role in a faith‐based nonprofit in Minnesota providing caregiving and medical‐support services to residents with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and traumatic brain injuries in group home settings. You will support residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation), assist with medical-related care including catheter placement and wound care, maintain a safe, clean living environment, monitor changes in health or behavior, help with transportation to appointments or activities, and collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver holistic care.
Required Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical, caregiving, or healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Experience with catheter care and wound management is a big plus
