Job Summary
Provide one-on-one assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration, while ensuring client safety and dignity. Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and monitor health status changes. Implement positive behavior management strategies, advocate for client rights, and maintain accurate records of progress and incidents. Support community integration by facilitating social, recreational, and vocational activities. Work Sunday through Wednesday and Thursday through Saturday shifts with a pay rate starting at $22.50 for awake hours and $17.50 for night supervision from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and fostering independence within a licensed organization.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (less than 3 moving violations in 3 years)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in the united states
- Pass all required background checks
- Acceptable criminal record
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to a certain weight
- Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, and reaching to support and assist individuals with various needs
- Ability to perform CPR or other emergency procedures if required
