Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide supervision and support for individuals in accordance with their treatment plans. Responsibilities include participating in program planning meetings, maintaining individuals' possessions, transporting individuals safely, and ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations. Certification in SCIP-R and AMAP is required, along with attendance at all mandatory training and staff meetings. A minimum high school diploma or GED is required, with a clean NYS driver’s license preferred. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 based on qualifications and training.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum high school diploma or GED.
- A clean and valid NYS driver’s license preferred.
- Acceptable background clearance check through State Central register and compliance with health regulations for physical examination and Mantoux.
