Job Summary
Provide close supervision for individuals following individual treatment plans, including continual oversight when on 1:1 status. Participate in program planning meetings and maintain neat and orderly conditions for individuals' possessions. Ensure safe transportation while adhering to NYS laws and maintaining necessary documentation. Comply with OPWDD regulations, maintain certifications in SCIP-R and AMAP, and demonstrate competency in required training areas.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum high school diploma or GED
- A clean and valid NYS driver’s license preferred
- Acceptable background clearance check through State Central register and compliance with health regulations for physical examination and Mantoux
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/traumatic brain injuries
