Job Summary
Provide close supervision for individuals according to their treatment plans, including maintaining safety and comfort during transportation. Participate in program planning meetings, complete required documentation, and maintain agency property. Comply with OPWDD regulations, obtain necessary certifications (SCIP-R, AMAP), and attend all required staff training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum high school diploma or GED
- Acceptable background clearance check through State Central register
- Compliance with health regulations for physical examination and Mantoux
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/traumatic brain injuries
Additional Requirements
- A clean and valid NYS driver’s license preferred
