DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (OPWDD) - Part Time Shifts Available

Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional provides close supervision for individuals, participates in program planning meetings, maintains individuals' possessions, and ensures safe transportation while adhering to NYS laws. Responsibilities include compliance with OPWDD regulations, obtaining SCIP-R and AMAP certifications, and attending mandatory training and meetings. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and preferably a valid NYS driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of high school diploma or GED
- A clean and valid NYS driver’s license preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/traumatic brain injured
- Ability to complete SCIP and AMAP training
- ASL Preferred
