Job Summary
Direct Support Professional assists individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. Responsibilities include hands-on support, personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, daily living skills), following individualized care plans and documenting progress, administering medications per policy, maintaining a safe environment, using approved behavior support techniques, and encouraging community engagement. Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs. Requires high school diploma or GED and ability to lift 50+ lbs; valid U.S. driver’s license with specified driving history.
