Direct Support Professional Now Hiring - Snohomish Area

Direct Support Professionals assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, including care of dietary needs, hygiene, grooming, dressing, and supervising transportation to community outings. Responsibilities include providing program participants with instruction and support per their Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP), maintaining a safe and healthful living environment aligned with Residential Service Guidelines, assisting with house cleaning, food preparation, shopping, monitoring health needs and medications, and helping participants access community activities. The role requires documenting medication logs, shift notes, progress notes, data sheets, incident reports, and client financial records; attending staff meetings; participating in required training; contributing to the development and implementation of IISP; and potentially becoming Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) at the employee’s expense. A valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients in the employee’s vehicle are required. CNA certification is preferred.
