Direct Support Professional - Northern, NE

Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering self-advocacy, and providing person-centered support for daily living, hygiene, and medical needs including medication administration. Deliver transportation services, facilitate social connections, and utilize Positive Support Programs to encourage participation in recreational and organizational activities. Provide documentation at the end of each shift while working independently to create safe environments. The role requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance, with shifts running Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm, plus evenings, overnight, and weekend hours. Candidates must pass Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services and criminal background checks and hold a high school diploma or GED.
