Job Summary
Support daily routines including cooking, cleaning, and personal care for clients with developmental disabilities while ensuring their safety and well-being. Help individuals engage with the community, follow care plans, and build independent living skills through one-on-one interaction. Communicate with families and teams, complete documentation, and assist with specialized needs like G-tube feeding, mobility transfers, and behavior support plans. Work flexible schedules in North Portland, maintaining consistent, meaningful support tailored to each client's unique goals and family preferences.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Smartphone required
- Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements
- CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Experience with clients who require supervision for all major daily activities and safety
- Experience with clients who require repetition, cues, and familiarity for communication
