Job Summary
Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other areas within residential and community settings. Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration. Facilitate working relationships between employers and individuals served by accompanying them on outings or providing transportation. Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. This overnight shift includes care throughout the hours and cleaning tasks throughout the group home. Base wage is $18.75/hour with potential increases for direct care experience or certifications like CRMA. Paid training is available for DSP and CRMA certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
- Valid Driver's License from state of residence for a minimum of 1 year
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Successful clearance of background checks
- A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
