Job Summary
Provide assistance and strategies to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. Conduct transportation and support for community outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping. Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Offer guidance on developmental goals such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities. Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors as needed. Full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules available with hourly pay of $18.40.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Successful clearance of background checks
- A reliable, responsible attitude
- A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
