Job Summary
Conduct community outings, field trips, and medical appointments while providing transportation and support. Assist individuals with daily living skills including meal preparation, medication administration, personal hygiene, and grooming. Guide clients on developmental goals such as household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities. Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors to ensure safety and independence. Requires valid driver's license, registered vehicle, and ability to travel in Lake and Mendocino Counties. Part-time and as-needed schedules available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Successful clearance of background checks
- A reliable, responsible attitude
- A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
- Ability to travel in Lake and Mendocino Counties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
