Job Summary
Build meaningful, respectful relationships with individuals you support while assisting with daily living skills like hygiene, meals, and routines. Support personal goals such as budgeting, communication, exercise, and nutrition, and encourage participation in community activities. Provide calm, consistent support for behavioral needs and help maintain a safe, positive home environment. Work closely with your team to support each person's goals in a home and community setting. Pick up shifts based on your availability as a PRN Direct Support Professional.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license (held for at least one year)
- Access to a registered, insured vehicle
- Ability to support individuals in home and community settings
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable working with individuals with behavioral or complex needs
- Good communicators and team players
- Flexible and able to adapt in real time
- Responsible, reliable, and consistent
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, healthcare, CNA work, behavioral health, or human services
