Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing personal support in a residence Monday–Friday 5pm–10pm. Responsibilities include supervising and training adults with developmental disabilities, implementing individual plans, promoting independence with daily living activities (mobility, budgeting, personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning), administering medications per PMOF and MAR, maintaining safety and cleanliness, completing records and reports, transporting individuals to appointments and activities, and collaborating with program staff. Requires CPR and health procedures knowledge, flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and a compassionate, patient approach aligned with agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight (may be >50 pounds)
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
