Direct Support Professional - Middletown, NY

Direct Support Professional position in Middletown, NY, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, personal care, and community activities. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals, and medication; teaching life skills like money management and social interaction; ensuring safety, providing support, and completing documentation; and transporting individuals to activities, medical appointments, and other outings using agency vehicles. Must have experience in care or customer service (preferred), strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to complete training and certifications, and a valid driver’s license with bilingual or ASL skills a plus. Multiple shifts available (day, night, overnight, 2 1/2 day shift); full-time, part-time, and per-diem options.
