Job Summary
Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served; promote member independence and support the accomplishment of personal goals; assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety and dignity; onboard, train, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to your house; collaborate with Team Lead or Assistant Manager on staffing, attendance, and performance issues; act as a liaison between families, administration, and individuals served to ensure consistent, quality care; maintain strong communication and leadership within the team; support a positive and professional team culture focused on person-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity and direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons 65 and older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance in the state you are employed
- Medication Management Administration certificate within 90 days of hire
