Job Summary
Direct Support Professional role providing hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges; assist with personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, activities of daily living), follow individualized care plans and document progress, administer medications per policy, maintain a safe environment, use approved behavior support techniques, and promote community engagement and participation. Position may involve travel between Residential and Day programs and may require driving responsibilities with valid U.S. driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with driving record requirements (at least 3 years with no more than 3 points or at least 2 years with clean record)
