Job Summary
Direct Support Professional in our Manufacturing Program provides hands-on job coaching and support to individuals with disabilities at community-based internship sites. You will coach participants on learning job tasks, workplace routines, and professional skills; encourage independence, teamwork, and personal growth; assist with resume building, job applications, and interview preparation; build positive relationships with local businesses and promote inclusive employment opportunities; and maintain communication with management while documenting participant progress.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Basic computer and communication skills
