Job Summary
Direct Support Professional provides supervision, guidance and instruction to individuals in a day service setting. Responsibilities include developing and implementing person-centered activities to promote positive outcomes, maintaining progress/attendance/behavioral data, transporting participants per safety policies, ensuring health and safety, and building positive relationships with participants, families, staff, and community representatives. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; CT driver’s license; 40 hours/week, M-F 9:00am-5:00pm in Wallingford, CT. Pay is $19.50/hour; benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, retirement benefits, and disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Must be over 18 and possess a valid CT driver’s license, have an acceptable driving history and utilize your own vehicle for Lumibility business as defined by Lumibility.’s policy.
