Job Summary
Assist, instruct, and support individuals with developmental disabilities living in our residences to maximize their independence. Promote health, safety, and well-being by advocating for communication of needs, integrating residents into community recreation, and performing light housekeeping. Help individuals plan nutritious meals and administer medications as needed. Participate in regularly scheduled trainings to enhance skills and knowledge for continued support. Maintain a positive role model presence for people with disabilities and staff. This full-time evening shift role at Intandem in Lockport requires a valid New York State driver's license and flexible availability for weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform all job functions
- Valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency's driving policy
