Direct Support Professional

Provide training, instruction, and supervision to individuals enrolled in the comprehensive Rehabilitation Program. Assist with orientation to the workshop setting, facilitate growth and movement, and develop vocational goals outlined in Personal Service Plans. Supervise consumers on contract work, maintain production flow and quality control, and ensure safety procedures and housekeeping policies are followed. Record daily attendance and production for payroll, complete implementer notes, and handle minor consumer issues including de-escalation and behavior plan implementation. Participate in personal care, assist in staff orientation, and adhere to all regulations regarding safety and licensure. Requires a high school diploma, clean driving record, and one year of experience working with disabled persons.
