Job Summary
Direct Support Professional at Chimes in Windsor Mill, MD. Provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, following individualized care plans, assisting with personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing), and documenting progress. Administer medications per policy, maintain a safe environment, use approved behavior support techniques, and encourage community engagement. Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving history; must be able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. This is a full-time DSP role with paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities in a mission-driven nonprofit setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with driving history requirements (at least 3 years unsuspended with no more than 3 points, or at least 2 years with a clean record)
