Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to help them live with dignity, independence, and confidence. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing), following individualized care plans and documenting progress, administering medications per policy, maintaining a safe, clean environment, applying approved behavior support techniques, and promoting community engagement. Some DSP roles may involve travel between Residential and Day programs. Requires high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver’s license; experience in disability services is preferred but not required. Compensation includes $20.25/hour with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
