Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor

Direct Support Professional (Independent Contractor) for a male individual with developmental disabilities in Charlotte, NC (28270). Provide in-home living assistance, respite and CLS, transportation to and from day programs/work sites, medication monitoring, and help in identifying valued social roles and promoting community integration. Duties include facilitating community activities, helping develop healthy social habits, and dispensing medications as needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (flexible). Pay rates: Respite $16.07/hr; CLS $20.35/hr. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and successful drug screen and background check. 1–2 years of I/DD experience preferred. This DSP position is an Independent Contractor arrangement (1099) with third-party contract management for deposits; state-required training fees may apply.
