Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (AD)

Direct Support Professional (Independent Contractor) for a male adult with developmental disabilities in Charlotte, NC. Provide companionship, care, and support through in-home living instruction, assistance, and community integration. Facilitate daily activities across home living environments, help identify and acquire valued social roles, and transport the individual to day programs, work sites, and community activities. Dispense medications and monitor dosages as needed, with schedule: 10a-6p on Tue, Thu, Fri (24 hours/week). Compensation includes multiple hourly rates (DS, CN, CLS) ranging from $20.35 to $22.52 per hour, paid as an Independent Contractor via a 1099 arrangement with a third-party vendor. Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, drug screen and background check. Two years of I/DD experience preferred.
