Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) for In-Home Care in Roanoke, VA. Part-time role 10:00am–3:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities include assisting with domestic tasks (laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, organizing), supporting individuals with volunteer opportunities, transportation, advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and medication administration. Requires an active driver’s license with a clean driving record (3+ years driving, limited violations), passing a criminal background check, and mandated reporting. EOE/ Drug-Free Workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
- No major violations within past 5 years
- Wall Residences employees are mandated reporters of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities
- Background check free of barrier crimes
