Job Summary
Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting, assisting with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs. Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community, while following Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans. Accompany individuals to appointments, support community activities, and assist with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal funds. Maintain accurate documentation, ensure a clean home environment, and take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff. Build strong relationships with families and team members. Full-time roles include health insurance, enhanced retirement matching, and tuition assistance; part-time schedules require a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or HiSET
- Active MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire, training provided)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
