Job Summary
Provide day-to-day services to program participants, including assisting with personal care routines like bathing and toileting, supporting household maintenance and meal prep, and accompanying individuals on appointments. Administer medications or support self-medication in accordance with residential guidelines while following individual Behavior Support Plans and physical therapy routines. Train or supervise direct support employees to implement care plans that align with each person's goals, ensuring quality and ethical standards are maintained.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required
- Valid Driver's License & Good Driving Record
- CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history)
