Direct Support Professional -Idd

Conduct personal care tasks including assistance with basic hygiene, grooming, feeding, and ambulation while performing medical monitoring and health care duties. Implement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans, managing client behaviors through prevention and de-escalation of aggression. Encourage self-help activities and foster positive relationships between individuals served and their support circles. Maintain accurate daily documentation of activities, fire and disaster drills, medications, goal tracking, and other required records. Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments, or run errands for clients. Requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, background check, and high school diploma.
