Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional responsible for providing quality care and assistance with daily activities, including bathing, feeding, medication administration, planning menus, dressing, grooming, arranging transportation, companionship, and helping customers achieve community integration. Additional duties include taking written daily updates of shift activities, monitoring safety and surroundings, supervising equipment, and performing other assigned tasks. Key competencies include quality decision making, effective communication, problem solving, interpersonal effectiveness, receptiveness to feedback, and a strong work ethic. Compliance with HIPAA, SOPs, and the organization’s mission and vision is required.
