Job Summary
Provide one-on-one assistance with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration while maintaining client dignity. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and support community integration through social, recreational, and vocational activities. Implement positive behavior management strategies, monitor health status, and ensure safety during emergency situations. Maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents. Work night shifts from Friday 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Requires a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and ability to lift clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (less than 3 moving violations in 3 years)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in the united states
- Pass all required background checks
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to a certain weight
- Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, and reaching to support and assist individuals with various needs
- Ability to perform CPR or other emergency procedures if required
- Acceptable criminal record
