Job Summary
Direct Support Professional I needed to maintain the health and welfare of individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily life activities, medication, and treatment plans while ensuring safety in various environments. Must meet specific qualifications and be flexible with shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Meet and maintain all requirements of the applicable state agency(ies)
- Submit to and pass a drug screen and criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age (non-driver) or 21 years of age (driver)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a direct support worker or in a caregiving capacity
- Ability to utilize basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, approving timesheets, etc.)
