Job Summary
Administer medication, assist with activities of daily living including cooking and personal hygiene, and provide transportation to medical appointments for residents. Implement individual behavioral plans by teaching new skills and mentoring, while encouraging community outings and recreational activities based on client preferences. Report health and safety concerns and maintain accurate documentation. Shifts run 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday with weekends off. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background checks and drug screens. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen
- Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
- Basic computer skills
