Job Summary
Direct Support Professional provides support and supervision to individuals with developmental, mental health, or physical disabilities. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining community relationships and friendships; assisting with daily routines (household tasks, cooking and eating, self-care, socializing, leisure activities, health and safety, money management, and behavior management); administering medications; providing transportation; and documenting services through an online system. The role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, a DHS background check, and flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights) with potential site-based travel. It is non-exempt, located in Wyoming, MN and East Bethel, MN, and with Synova Group offering competitive benefits including PTO and health/dental/life/disability insurance. Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to an insured vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DHS background study
- Exhibit basic computer skills
