Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) needed to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence, community inclusion, and meaningful daily living. Responsibilities include planning and supporting vocational training, personal living skills, recreational activities, and community integration; health and safety monitoring; documenting progress in electronic records; transporting individuals to activities; participating in required trainings; and providing encouragement and feedback to help individuals build confidence and self-esteem. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency (bi-lingual a plus), clean CORI, and a valid driver's license. Growth opportunities vary by certifications and performance; role involves physical activity and assisting with daily living tasks.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in human services or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but your genuine desire to help others is what truly matters.
- Fluency in written and oral English. Bi-Lingual candidates a plus!
- A clean CORI (criminal record check).
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
