Job Summary
Conduct personal care, including assistance with toileting, feeding, and transfers, for 3-4 adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home. Administer medications and provide behavioral support while managing transportation needs. Perform daily tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending as needed. Maintain verbal, visual, and audible communication with residents and staff. Requires a valid driver's license with two years of experience, no major violations or DUIs in the past 36 months, and a clean criminal background. Full-time role in Parkton, MD, with shifts starting at 2pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D
- Acceptable criminal background
- Valid Driver's License with 2 yrs. experience, and less than 3 moving violations (NO Major Violations, D.U.I's, Suspensions) in the previous 36 months
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, traverse, kneel, bend from the waist, etc., as needed
- Applicant must be able to communicate verbally, visually and audibly
