Job Summary
Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living needs, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Assist clients in building active community lives by facilitating social events, hobbies, and transportation to appointments or gatherings. Advocate for individual choices and collaborate with caregivers, families, and medical professionals to provide holistic, person-centered care. Celebrate milestones and offer emotional support during challenges. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pre-hire clearances including State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI checks. Full-time 2nd and 3rd shift availability with comprehensive training provided.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pre-hire Clearances: State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years)
- Ability to pass Medication Administration and CPR/First Aid Certification
- Access to a personal mobile device for work communication
- Must be available for 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) and 3rd Shift (11:00pm - 9:00am) shifts, including weekends and holidays
