Job Summary
Conduct daily living support, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provide coaching and guidance based on individualized care plans while monitoring medication administration and implementing approved behavior support plans. Plan and participate in weekend recreational and therapeutic programs, accompany residents on community outings, and transport individuals safely to various destinations. Complete required documentation, reports, and data collection to maintain a safe living environment. Work Wednesday through Saturday shifts from midnight to 10 am as part of a residential habilitative program, with no experience required and comprehensive paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record
- PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Comfortable working both day and overnight shifts
