DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL-FULL TIME

Direct Support Professional will supervise and train individuals at the day program, delivering training in pre-vocational skills, socialization, communication, cognitive skills, and self-help to promote community integration and vocational achievement. Responsibilities include implementing training programs, maintaining and organizing individual files and data, planning and reviewing goals, reporting incidents, coordinating with supervisors and families, providing transportation with a valid driver’s license, administering medications per state and agency requirements via eMAR, completing mandated trainings (including CPR/First Aid, Mandt System, and MTTP where applicable), and actively participating in meetings. The role requires professional interaction with individuals supported, adherence to person-centered and behavioral plans, documentation, and collaboration with program staff to support independence and community participation. Training and certifications related to medication administration, driving, and safety are required or pursued as part of the role.
