Job Summary
Direct Support Professional to train, support, and monitor clients in the community-based CITP setting, participate in developing a circle of support with families and staff, create individualized adaptive materials, expand clients’ participation in integrated employment activities, and assist with clients’ annual IPP and plan goals. Requires HS diploma/GED and driving eligibility; role emphasizes skill-building, independence, and community integration with regular shift coverage and collaboration across families, staff, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Experience: 1 year working in social services, education, or with the developmentally disabled population preferred
- Driving: 3 years driving experience; own vehicle for transportation; willing to drive up to 3 clients in your personal vehicle at once (mileage reimbursed at current IRS rate)
